Memoirz Weddings has joined forces with the Newport resort to create a dedicated experience for couples planning celebrations filled with family, culture and tradition.
Planning a wedding is about much more than choosing a venue. It is about bringing together the people, traditions and personal touches that make a celebration feel like your own.
Now, couples planning an Asian wedding in South Wales have a new partnership to help bring their ideas to life, as Memoirz Weddings becomes the exclusive Asian wedding partner of The Celtic Manor Resort near Newport.
The collaboration brings together the resort’s event spaces and hospitality with Memoirz Weddings’ specialist experience in Asian weddings and family celebrations. From grand receptions and multi-day occasions to more intimate ceremonies and gatherings, the aim is to offer couples support as they plan a day – or several days – that reflects what matters most to them.
The partnership was celebrated at a launch event at Celtic Manor, giving guests a glimpse of the possibilities offered by the resort as a setting for Asian weddings.

A celebration with room for everyone
For many couples, a wedding is a chance to gather generations of family and friends in one place. Finding a venue with enough room for a large guest list, dining, entertainment and dancing can be one of the biggest decisions in the planning process.
Celtic Manor’s Caernarfon Suite offers a setting for larger celebrations, with high ceilings and chandeliers helping to create a sense of occasion. The resort describes it as a space for weddings attended by hundreds of guests, with room for a dancefloor and entertainment.
There is scope, too, for celebrations of different sizes across the resort. The partnership covers ceremonies, mehndi events, walimas and private gatherings, as well as larger receptions.
That flexibility may be particularly appealing to families who want to bring several parts of a celebration together at one destination. Some couples might envisage a lively gathering with a long guest list; others may prefer a more intimate occasion. The emphasis is on creating an experience that feels personal to the people at its heart.
Bringing the details together
Under the new arrangement, Memoirz Weddings at Celtic Manor Resort will manage Asian wedding enquiries, initial planning and coordination. The team will also work with a selected network of caterers, décor specialists, lighting teams and other wedding suppliers.
It is an approach designed to help couples navigate the many decisions that come with a wedding, from the atmosphere they want to create to the practical details of bringing everything together.
Food, decoration, music and lighting can all play a part in setting the tone, while the involvement of family and the observance of cultural or religious traditions can make every celebration distinctive. The partnership recognises that there is no single template for an Asian wedding: each couple and family will have their own wishes, customs and ideas.
Meynul Hussain, Managing Director of Memoirz Weddings, said the team was proud to bring its experience to Celtic Manor as the resort’s exclusive Asian wedding partner.
“Asian weddings are full of family, culture, detail and emotion, and our role is to help couples create celebrations that feel personal, seamless and unforgettable.
The Celtic Manor offers the perfect setting, not just as a venue, but as a full resort experience for couples and their guests.”

More than a wedding venue
Set in the Usk Valley near Newport, Celtic Manor offers couples the opportunity to make their wedding a wider experience for their guests, particularly if family and friends are travelling from further afield.
With hotel accommodation, restaurants, spa facilities and plenty of space across the resort, there is the potential to turn a wedding into a longer stay and enjoy time together beyond the main celebration.
Whether it is a quiet moment with family before the ceremony, a colourful mehndi event or a packed dancefloor at the reception, the new partnership is intended to give couples the setting and support to make those moments their own.
