American rock supergroup HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES will return to the UK and Europe this summer for a string of hugely anticipated shows including a date in Cardiff.
Their first live shows in almost three years, Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen will head to TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on Friday August 14th with special guests THE DAMNED.

Hollywood Vampires kick off their summer run at The O2 in London on August 12. They will then headline a further seven UK shows before heading out across Europe, wrapping up in Italy in early September.

It’s been a decade since Hollywood Vampires first came together – and they’re still raising hell on stage. Formed in 2015, the band bonded over a shared love of their favourite songs and a desire to celebrate their ‘dead, drunk friends’ by playing the music of rock’s fallen heroes.
Named after Alice Cooper’s 1970s drinking club, which included the likes of John Lennon, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz, Hollywood Vampires quickly earned a reputation for blistering live shows – a riotous mix of original anthems and tributes to the legends who inspired them.
Their sets are a raucous celebration of rock’s greatest icons, performed alongside their own powerhouse material. Hollywood Vampires’ shows feature stone-cold classics from The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Motörhead, The Doors, AC/DC and more, alongside hits from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith. Special guests in Cardiff will be true punk and Goth-Rock icons The Damned. With 12 studio albums – including the era- defining Damned Damned Damned – and several UK chart singles under their belts, the legends mark their 50th anniversary with a new tour and album. Released on Friday January 23rd, Not Like Everybody Else is a deeply personal and celebratory covers album dedicated to the memory of Brian James, the band’s legendary founding guitarist who died in 2025.
I do have fond memories of The Dammed, and I’m sure the guys will remember this tour too. They supported Marc Bolan and T.Rex during his Dandy in the Underworld days and they were incredible (both bands). Although I have to admit, as a young lad, at his first ever gig, I got a bit nervous when a Fairy Liquid bottle appeared at the drum kit, fill with something other than washing up liquid. Needless to say, it was a ‘flaming’ good night!
