Six DJs to Join Sammy Virji as he Brings Headline Show to Cardiff

The undisputed prince of UK Garage SAMMY VIRJI announces an unmissable headline show in Cardiff this summer.

Breakthrough artist Sammy – who has gone from delivering viral DJ Mag sets to pulling massive Coachella crowds – will bring the party to TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on Saturday July 18th.

No less than six DJs will also join Sammy when he brings his unmissable headline show to Cardiff this summer.

And it is announced today he will be joined byAustrian DJ and record producer Salute and DJs Silva Bumpa, Arthi, SAINT LUDO, Yemz and Cardiff’s Lucas Alexander.

Sammy Virji is driving the evolution of UKG, as the genre takes the world by storm – again. His DJ Mag set from 2023 went viral, propelling him into a new level of fame, not without reason; not only is he a masterful selector, he does it all with a massive smile on his face.

He’s gone B2B with Four Tet in Liverpool, been a resident at Radio 1 (including making a renowned Essential Mix for them), and DJ Mag would later crown him Best Producer at their Best of British awards 2025.

All of this, but he’s not just a sensation in the UK: across the pond, he drew one of the biggest crowds at Coachella last year, while his last couple of singles have charted as far as New Zealand. His songs have tens of millions of streams each, with If U Need It certified Gold, while his Skepta collaboration, the careening banger Cops & Robbers, made the top 10 in the UK dance charts.

SAMMY VIRJI

Vienna-born SALUTE has become more than a producer – they are a cultural innovator representing a club scene that is diverse, queer and community driven. Since emerging as one of the UKs most exciting electronic voices, they have built a reputation for balancing raw emotion with dancefloor ecstasy, weaving grime, UK Garage, electro, French house, jazz, gospel, R&B and hip hop into a singular, unmistakeable vision.

Their music channels as much emotional resonance as physical release and this ability has not only won over audiences worldwide, but has also earned praise from heavyweights including Four Tet, DJ Seinfield, Floating Points, Skrillex, Fred again…, Annie Mac and Benji B.

SALUTE

Ahead of Salute’s set, Cardiff Castle will welcome producer and DJ Silva Bumpa – one of the fastest rising names in UK dance music.

Combining a UK bass grit with the singalong bounce of club classics, Silva Bumpa’s sounds bottle the effervescent spirit of mid-noughties bassline with solid songwriting.

2024 saw a sold-out UK headline tour, notable festival slots at Glastonbury, Boomtown and Outlook, and a rapidly growing fan base across Europe and Australia rooting him as a key UK garage name in live circuits overseas.

Also joining the bill are multi-genre Arthi and party-starter SAINT LUDO who will come together on stage for a seismic B2B set.

And opening the night are Bristol-based Yemz and Cardiff’s Lucas Alexander – currently hailed as the hottest name in House music in Wales.

So, Cardiff, brace yourself for monumental bass drops and contagious grooves as Sammy delivers an incredible show like no other.

Sammy Virji joins Self Esteem,Jimmy Eat World, Bowling For Soup, Katy Perry, Garbage and Skunk Anansie, Richard Ashcroft, Sex Pistols, MIKA, Two Door Cinema Club and Ethel Cain among the headline announcements already revealed for TK Maxx presents DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle 2026 which is presented by promoters DEPOT Live and Cuffe and Taylor.
