Nominations are now open for the 2026 Sport Caerphilly Sport Awards, giving residents the opportunity to recognise the outstanding individuals, clubs and volunteers who make a difference through sport and physical activity across Caerphilly County Borough.
The awards celebrate those who inspire others through their dedication, commitment and achievements, both on and off the field. Nominations are open until 10pm on 23rd September.
Awards open for nomination include Young Volunteer of the Year (Under 18), Volunteer of the Year, Inclusive Coach of the Year, Community Coach of the Year, Club of the Year, Lifetime Achievement to Sport, Community Club of the Year and Coach of the Year, recognising excellence at every level of sport and physical activity across the county borough.
The awards support the aims of the Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-2029, recognising the important role that volunteers, coaches and community clubs play in creating opportunities for people of all ages to be active.
The awards ceremony will take place on 20th November at Bryn Meadows Hotel, bringing together the county borough’s sporting community to celebrate the outstanding individuals and clubs making a difference through sport and physical activity.

Nominations can be submitted by completing the nomination form or through the new video nomination form.Those submitting a video nomination should paste a link to their video into the form, ideally using a public or unlisted YouTube link or a Dropbox link.
