Celebrate World Bath Bomb Day By Pressing Your Own With Lush

To celebrate WORLD BATH BOMB DAY on Wednesday 27th April LUSH will be hosting a Makers on Tour throughout this month, with a couple of dates right here in South Wales.

Over three weeks, Lush’s bath bomb makers from the Lush factory in Dorset will be visiting over 60 Lush shop locations to offer customers the opportunity to press some of Lush’s best selling bath bombs to take home with them (prices from £4.00).

Lush was first awarded the trademark for bath bombs after being invented by Lush Co-founder and Product Inventor, Mo Constantine in her shed in 1989. Although previously unknown, the term ‘bath bomb’ is now so widely adopted it has been added to the Oxford Dictionary.

The MAKERS ON TOUR will be dropping in to two venues later this week…..

  • LUSH SWANSEA – TUESDAY 13th APRIL (11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm)
  • LUSH CARDIFF – WEDNESDAY 14th APRIL (12.30pm-2.30pm & 4pm-6pm)

Since establishing over 27 years ago, Lush has been driven by innovation and its ethics. Creators of pioneering beauty products such as the fizzing bath bomb, shower jellies and solid shampoo bars, Lush places emphasis on fresh ingredients like organic fruits and vegetables. Lush fights tirelessly against animal testing and operates a thoroughly comprehensive Ethical Buying department, developing fair and direct trade initiatives.

Lush leads the cosmetics industry in combating over-packaging by running public awareness campaigns and developing products that can be sold ‘naked’ to the consumer without any packaging.

Today Lush operates in 48 countries with over 900 shops, 38 websites shipping worldwide and a global network of native apps, broadcasting channels and digital communities in over 30 languages. To find out more, and see what’s on offer, go HERE.
