Flying Start Christmas Grotto

The Grotto is open to families receiving Flying Start Services only. The event is free and will be held at our Family Centre on Gladstone Road, Barry.

The Grotto will be manned by the Flying Start Elves, with a very special appearance by Father Christmas!

Mother Christmas will be on hand for a festive story and the Elves will help with some Christmas craft in the Elves workshop for you to take home. A special post box is available for your child to post a letter to Father Christmas.

Please feel free to bring your camera to have a photo taken with Father Christmas on the day.

Please ensure that you book only children under the age of 4 for this grotto experience. Each child needs their own ticket to attend.

The experience will last for 45 minutes, please arrive 5 minutes before your time slot to ease the process of booking everyone in.

PLEASE NOTE: Should you register for a place and not be registered with Flying Start, we reserve the right to withdraw the place for your child. This is due to the limited spaces available in the grotto for our registered children.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The MAXIMUM age for children attending is 4 years. Please ensure each child has their own ticket as places and timeslots are limited.

A MAXIMUM of two adults per child to attend due to limited space in the grotto.

Please bring your own camera for pictures of your child enjoying the festive fun and activities.
