When we heard about this we wanted to share it with you as it sounds like a fun, sociable thing to do, and it’s FREE. In this day and age, to get that combination is rare. Let’s be honest, with Kirstie doing all her handmade stuff on the telly at the moment, this is a perfect evening out.

Each fortnight Lark will be hosting a relaxing evening of craft at their studio. You can bring along your art, craft or anything really that you enjoy to do at home but occasionally like to do with some like minded people.

At Lark Design Make, which is Gemma really, she’s passionate about getting crafty and being creative! Her workshops are for adults and children and cover everything from jewellery making and sewing to calligraphy and soap-making.

Gemma

She established Lark to bring the enjoyment and the love of crafts to as many people as possible, it had been in the pipeline for many years. They offer a varied schedule of workshops (including leather jewellery, calligraphy, macrame, soap-making. cosmetics, scrap-booking, sewing & knitting!) as well as catering for children’s craft parties and hen parties in and around Cardiff.

They tell us the kettle will be on and all they ask for is a small donation towards milk and biscuits. It’s great if you need some inspiration or want to learn a new skill. There will always be a simple craft on offer for a nominal fee.

The CRAFT NIGHTS will be held ever fortnight from Thursday 9th January, they’ll run between 6 and 8:30pm at Cardiff MADE on Lochaber Street in Roath. It is a drop in session so just go along anytime. Entry via the garden. If you would like to book a place however, just go here. CRAFT The full list of dates is below.
