Like most of us who enjoy reading we still love a good old fashioned, made out of paper, book. We have all the Kindle, Apple and Kobo readers and they are fantastically convenient, especially for taking away or travelling with. You still however, can’t beat a proper book. Sometimes, getting that inspiration to pick up a book and start reading is all we need.
So let us introduce you to a Book Club with a difference! In this one, there’s no need to read the books in advance, just go along to the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea for a discussion. With set themes and authors this is a chance to discover different books that you might be inspired to go on and read.
They have lots of dates in the diary and get together weekly, so you can dip in and out as you choose. Apart from anything, it’s a real sociable thing too.
The season’s theme for January is books set in warm climates.
The Book Club runs most Tuesday’s, here are the next few dates…….
