The Hope Rescue Fun Dog show at Parc Bryn Bach in Tredegar is not only a great day out for all the family but is in a lovely setting for a doggy event with the beautiful lake. You and your beloved pet will have a whale of a time.

Since 2005 Hope Rescue has been saving the lives of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs that, through no fault of their own, need a second chance. They commit to take all the stray dogs from six Local Authorities in South Wales – Merthyr Tydfil, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and the western half of the Vale of Glamorgan – irrespective of their age, breed or medical condition. They also help owners in crisis who need to surrender their dogs, giving them peace of mind that their dogs will be re-homed responsibly.

They feel passionately that their role is not simply to deal with the consequences of irresponsible ownership, but to also tackle the root causes and reduce the number of dogs needing to access the animal welfare system. They are strong believers in the valuable pastoral and therapeutic role that dogs can play in our local community.

There are obviously some pretty distressing pictures we could show you but we feel the Dog Show is a fun, celebration of our beloved pets, so that’s what we’re going to see here. Fun, cute dogs.

The day itself will be fantastic, but it is a competition too. The show classes are:
