According to Google Trends the word ‘unprecedented’ was used more times daily during the first lockdown than ever before. This is one thing which unites our planet, no matter where you are.
It’s very easy to think about our own situation, and we absolutely should. When we are trapped in our own bubbles, patiently waiting for the day when things return to normal, or whatever version of normal we’ll be living under, it’s reassuring to know others are experiencing life just as we are.
They say a problem shared is a problem halved, multiply that by millions of times and although the crisis is the most difficult period of our life, we know we are in this together. We really are living in a ‘one world’ environment.
