This Wednesday (20th) it’s NATIONAL FITNESS DAY and a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across Wales, helping us raise awareness of its importance in assisting us to lead healthier lifestyles.
While bringing people together through physical activity on National Fitness Day has a hugely positive impact, we’re also being encouraged to view this day as just one step in a much bigger journey. Because after all, our health is for life.
Last year more than 22 million of us across the UK were active on the day, including 11.4 million children!

Newport Live are celebrating the day by welcoming us into their venues to explore their exercise classes, innovative fitness equipment, meet the fitness instructors and find out more about how they can help people of all ages, meet their health and well-being goals.
