Sephora UK is excited to reveal the opening date of its Cardiff St Davids store – slated for 23rd October 2025. This new store location marks Sephora’s 11th store in the UK, its first store outside of England and the first to open in Wales. Since the launch of its debut store at London’s
Westfield White City in 2023, there has been significant consumer demand for expansion beyond England, and this latest announcement marks a major milestone in Sephora’s continued UK growth.
There’s no slowing down for Sephora UK this autumn, with a new Oxford store also planned to open before the end of the year. This year alone, the retailer has opened three new “temples of beauty” across the region including Liverpool ONE, Sheffield Meadowhall and Manchester Arndale. Sephora has rapidly expanded with a bricks and mortar footprint in just under three years, with an aim to bring its world-renowned beauty retail experience across the country.
Since opening its first store in 2023, Sephora UK’s store openings across the nation have become iconic moments, with beauty fans often queueing overnight to be among the first to receive one of the coveted goodie bags. While the excitement has been unforgettable,
Sephora has evolved its approach to ensure that the store opening experience is inclusive, accessible and rewarding for all customers.
Trialled first at the Manchester Arndale opening in August, the traditional “first in line” model is being replaced with a new Sephora “Beauty Bonus Card” mechanic, giving more shoppers the chance to win prizes during opening weekend, with no need to queue through the night.
Every customer who makes a purchase across opening weekend will receive a Beauty Bonus Card with the chance of winning a variety of on the spot prizes, including full size products, exclusive discounts, Sephora merch, and yes, the beloved goodie bags.
