This was such a big hit last year that the team at ICC Wales have brought S K A T E back for the festive season. This is the perfect place for families to create magical memories at the first ever eco-friendly indoor ice rink to come to South Wales. This year, they tell us the indoor synthetic Glice rink is even better and bigger.
Glide across the smooth synthetic ice and take in the sights and sounds of Christmas, as you journey through magical illuminated light tunnels and falling ‘snow’. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or beginner, this is an experience you won’t want to miss!
And if you’ve worked up an appetite, there’s plenty to eat, drink and be merry at the festive food and drink stalls. From next-level street food to a festive tipple or two, they’ve got something for everyone to create those magical memories this Christmas.
There’s also a range of Christmas gift stalls with a wide variety of unique and festive items.

S K A T E at ICC Wales runs from Saturday 14th December through to Saturday 4th January 2025, with a veriety of time slots to choose from. Tickets are £12 with Skating Aids at £4. For more details go HERE.
They also run an Exclusive Skating option if you have a huge family or want to take the entire workforce along.
You can enjoy an exclusive 40 minute skating session for up to 130 tickets and 20 skate aids.
Cost for one session is £1476.00 including VAT.

Also running at the ICC is ELF THE MUSICAL. For families looking for “the best way to spread Christmas cheer” over the festive season, this is a show like no other.
The performance will see Buddy the Elf take to the stage in this spectacular Christmas show. The smash hit musical is set to wow family audiences, with an engaging retelling of the blockbuster movie starring Will Ferrell.
Tickets start from £23, with performances taking place between 14th December 2024 to 4th January 2025.
Theatre fans can upgrade their Elf the Musical experience, with a themed afternoon tea, carefully crafted by Santa’s little helpers in an enchanting tearoom with a woodland view. Families will be spoiled for choice with delicious treats inspired by the show. Afternoon tea is available to book now, priced at £32 for adults and £18 per child.
A pre-show VIP Lounge experience will also give guests exclusive access to the VIP lounge, where the over-18s will be showered with delicious canapés and a glass of bubbles whilst children will be able to enjoy a range of tasty child-friendly bites and gifted a magical toy, the perfect pre-show treat for every little elf! Tickets start from £20 per adult, £15 per child.
