In line with many events, the VINTAGE FOR VICTORY (Vintage Festival Wales) has had to reschedule activities to this year, but it promises to be just as amazing.
Because of the enforced delay, the team have been able put together a festival weekend like no other, we’re telling you, this is as jam-packed an event as you’ll find anywhere.
We think is one of the best supported, hidden gems, in the South Wales calendar and whilst it has all the fun, food and excitement you’d expect from a modern festival, the added vintage twist makes it some thing very special for the whole family – the kids are really going to love this one.
Taking its inspiration from the Romance and Glamour of Vintage Fashion & Nostalgia the return of the Vintage For Victory – Vintage Festival Wales weekend to The Whitchurch Library Gardens in Whitchurch Village, Cardiff. This Boutique Vintage Festival is now in its fifth year and is one of the best kept secrets in the event calendar, (not any more). It’s family friendly and extremely relaxed !!
Set in the past it celebrates all that was great from the 1940s 50s & 60s. You to drift back in time, to those halcyon days and soak up the unique atmosphere in the period costume of your chosen era. It is an opportunity for you, friends and family to dress up to the nines in timeless style, amongst a crowd of people doing the same. With a fantastic musical line up to cater for all ages, Jive & Lindy Hop lessons, get ready to dance the day away.
And they pretty much have it all going on……

When we say food, we’re not talking wartime rations, they have some of the best Street Food around. Everything from burgers, toasties, hot dogs and ice cream, to the Black Tie Bartenders, the Travelling Tea Pot and the Big Red Bus Bar. we love events where you can turn up and take your pick of amazing food and drink, while enjoying the whole day (and night) filled with entertainment.
You can eat and drink, watch and enjoy, grab the kids and visit a proper vintage carnival. You can learn to dance and shop your heart out (vintage of course) – you can even give your shoes a little treat from Steel City Shoeshine.

Any guests able to provide evidence of disability requiring a registered full time carer, will be entitled to purchase a Concessionary Ticket, with free entry for one carer - ADMISSION TICKETS ARE VERY LIMITED so please purchase early to avoid disappointment.
- STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL TO BE BROUGHT ON SITE (this is available for purchase inside the venue) otherwise please feel free to bring all you need to enjoy a family picnic, including hampers, blankets etc

FESTIVAL CAMPING
- Situated close to the main event site within easy walking distance
Cardiff Quins RFC Diamond Ground, Forest Farm Rd, Whitchurch, Cardiff. - On site facilities have running water, toilets, showers and use of the on site club house
- V4V Camping – From Friday 10am until Monday 12 noon …. £35 per pitch
Tents / Caravans / Camper Vans / Motor Homes (no size limit) all welcome

The site is wheelchair friendly with disabled toilet facilities easily accessible. Dogs will be allowed at the festival. They must be on leads and all waste must be picked up and disposed of properly.
