Some events are so good they’ll blow you away. Some events however aren’t the NITRO WORLD GAMES. Get set for action on a huge scale which will take mind-blowing to another level. We’re just months away now from one of the most explosive events to hit the Capital for a long time.

More than 100 of the best athletes in sport’s most extreme disciplines will gather in Cardiff this spring, when the world’s pre-eminent action sports competition takes place outside of U.S. Global sport for the first time. This is big – and we mean really big.

Entertainment leaders Nitro Circus and Live Nation have partnered with Visit Wales, Principality Stadium and Cardiff Council to bring NITRO WORLD GAMES WALES 2020 to Cardiff on the Bank Holiday weekend, 23rd and 24th May.

This is how the stadium will look when the Nitro team move in………

Elite competitors in freestyle motocross (FMX), BMX, skate and freestyle scooter will face off not only for a coveted trophy, but more importantly for ultimate bragging rights as a world champion.

NITRO WORLD GAMES raised the bar (and most of the riders flew right over it) for Freestyle Motocross competition with a game-changing format designed to recognize the most well rounded freestyle technicians. Riders must land a range of different types of tricks in a single run, leaving little margin for error as they reach deep into their arsenal in an attempt to take home a trophy.

That applies to all disciplines in the games. The skill, excitement and danger level is second to none. The competitors are huge stars in what they do. The train, fine-tune and dedicate themselves to their sport as much as any athlete around. Some of them become household names.

Tony Hawk said…..

“The Nitro World Games are a great representation of skateboarding’s evolution and modern progression.”

Tony Hawk…

We are thrilled that the Skateboard legend will also co-host the Nitro World Games Wales broadcast with action sports icon Travis Pastrana, while Todd Richards will return as the official host as the biggest action sports competition expands outside of the U.S. for the first time. The world’s best athletes in FMX, BMX, skate, and scooter will vie for titles across five events at Principality Stadium.

Tony returns as co-host and to provide analysis during the 2020 Skate Vert event in Wales. He’s been involved with Nitro World Games since it began.

He said……

“The UK has had a consistently strong skate scene since the early ’80s, so it will be a great fit, and long overdue.”

In addition to Skate Vert, Nitro World Games Wales will feature groundbreaking competitions in Freestyle Motocross, BMX Best Trick, BMX Triple Hit, and Scooter Best Trick.

BMX legend Kyle Baldock is confirmed for the next Nitro World Games Triple Hit event, going down in Wales. With the competition approaching, the competitor confirmations are rolling in. Kyle joins recently confirmed Triple Hit competitors Pat Casey and Daniel Sandoval. All three riders will compete in the semifinals on the 23rd, battling for a spot in the finals on the 24th.

For fans of BMX, Kyle needs no introduction. He’s a veteran on the competition scene who’s been making major podiums for a decade with no signs of slowing down. The competitor lineups for the five events in Wales are just going to get better and better as May gets closer.

Ryan Williams explored Cardiff, Wales with the Nitro Circus crew as well as his girlfriend Alex Prout. First it was an ‘Old Castle’, as he called it, and Todd Meyn threw a Frontflip. Then it was off to the roof of Principality Stadium where the Nitro World Games are being hosted.

We live here and like many of have been in the stadium lots of times. Never seen it like this though……

For us at SOUTH WALES LIFE we applaud the organisers for keeping the tickets to a level which is more than realistic for such a big event. This is something which families can share and enjoy together and we feel the price makes that a real possibility.

We’ve just heard there is a DISCOUNTED 4 PACKS STARTING AT £22.25 PER TICKET
