You have to feel for the organisers of this brand new photography show. Like so many other events, venue was arranged, guests were booked, and for those with a love of photography, this was set to be an ideal place to meet and talk to liked minded enthusiasts. The first event had to be cancelled, the rescheduled date for last year also changed, but we feel sure when it starts again in July it’ll be well worth the wait.

We always love to bring some fresh to you and with this show we have a new venue and a brand new event and for all lovers of photography, we mean the real McCoy with a camera and lens, then this is definitely for you.

The WALES & WEST PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW, the first of its kind in Wales, is to be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC). Best of all, the general admission tickets for each of the two days are absolutely FREE.

The weekend will showcase the latest photographic and video equipment from the biggest international brands and will feature free seminars and presentations from professional photographers and videographers across the two days. We’ve been told there’ll also be some exclusive special offers which will be available over the weekend from brands such as Sony, Olympus, Sigma, and many more!

But don’t think this is only an event for those in the photography know. If you want to get out your camera and start taking pictures away from your smartphone, or fed up with a gallery full of selfies, and looking to create some real memories you and your family can hang onto for a lifetime, then this is definitely for you too.

Getting a chance to listen to world class speakers, talking about the thing they are most passionate about can be really inspiring for all of us. The organisers of the show have pulled out all the stops for the inaugural event and come up with some of the best photographers around in their field.

The line up of speakers is second to none

HANNAH COUZENS is a multi award winning professional portrait photographer based in St.Albans.

She definitely is not just any High Street Photographer. She is a professional portrait photographer with a passion / obsession for light. Hannah is a European Ambassador for SONY IMAGING (the first female from the UK) and is a speaker and educator for premium global light brand PROFOTO.

Hannah made her entrance into the photography world by entering the record books with The British Institute of Professional Photography for being one of the youngest members to qualify within the history of the institute at the tender age of 19!

EMMA JANE is an award-winning photographer and trainer based in Oxfordshire.

Having worked with children for the last 7 years and absolutely she adores capturing the little toddler quirks, the expressions that belong to them only and those special first few weeks where babies are so, so tiny. Milk spots, downy hair and little fingers and toes… scrunched up stretchy yawns and balled up fists… they’re all the little things that slowly disappear after those precious first few weeks.

EMILY ENDEAN is a chaser of light, an ocean addict and lover of nature.

She primarily photographs landscapes, seascapes and nature, enjoying capturing the world around her. Emily is obsessed with the ocean, and if she’s not photographing it from the shoreline then she’s neck deep in it shooting on her Fujifilm X-T3 in an underwater housing.

PETER ELLIOT is a photographer and film-maker from the south coast of the UK.

Driven by exploring new places and meeting new people, Pete has always travelled with a keen eye for capturing authentic moments of the real world around him. He shoots lifestyle, landscape, sport, and products and is always content with a camera in his hand and a narrative to expose through his photography.

GURVIR JOHAL is an international wedding photographer based in Birmingham.

He has won numerous awards along with earning his titles of Double Master photographer with WPPI and Fellowship Photographer with SWPP & BIPP. He is also an ambassador for Fundy Designer, GraphiStudio, Light & Motion and a Nikon “ Z Creator”.

GERAINT RADFORD grew up in the Rhondda Valleys of South Wales and found a deep appreciation of the natural world.

In 2010, he began his photography journey and quickly fell in love with macro photography. Since then Geraint’s images have been widely published in leading photography and nature magazines and he has spoken at the prestigious Photography shows at the NEC.

MARK CLEGHORN is a photographer with a distinctive style.

His images have won hundreds of awards including the Kodak European Gold Award 17 times plus being awarded 4 Fellowships. Since 1992 he has influenced photographers across the world setting new trends and techniques and was one of the first to fully embrace digital.
He now spends his time split between running The Xperience Group of photographers and as the Training Director of the online training company for photographers, The Photographer Academy.

SAM NASH is an award-winning published freelance photographer with over 15 years of portrait and fashion photography, and videography.
