Abseil The Wales Millennium Centre Free Event

We wanted to tell you about this now as places are flying out right now, and you don’t want your kids to miss out on this amazing opportunities to abseil one of our most iconic buildings. Best of all, the whole thing is FREE.

This April the WMC are teaming up with Child Friendly Cardiff to deliver a fantastic abseiling opportunity for young people aged 12+ to come and scale the walls of the iconic building in Cardiff Bay.

Cardiff is the first city in Wales to participate in the UK committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK)’s national Child Friendly Cities  and Communities initiative. The ambition is for Cardiff to be recognised as a Child Friendly City (CFC): a city with children and young people at its heart, where the rights of children and young people are respected by all, a great place to grow up.

The team will work together to create a city where all children and young people can share their voice and have an input on decisions being made that will affect them.

To find out more about Child Friendly Cardiff go HERE.

Sessions for the abseil will be held on Sunday 17th April from 12pm to 5pm and on Monday 18th April from 11am to 5pm.

You’ll be able to book your time slot in advance or by turning up on the day – available slots permitting.
