Dogs Dine in Five-Star Style as Voco St. David’s Cardiff Launches Luxury Menu

Cardiff’s iconic five-star hotel, voco St. David’s Cardiff, has gone one step further in its dog-friendly offering with the launch of a brand-new Doggy All Day Menu – available from National Dog Day (26th August).

Offered daily in the bar at Tir a Môr, the menu has been specially created for four-legged guests to enjoy alongside their owners. It features a choice of doggy tapas (£5 each), including grilled mini fresh meatballs with gravy, pork sausages and gravy, scrambled egg and smoked salmon, cheddar cheese and biscuits, and carrot, apple and cucumber sticks.

For hungrier pups, there are full bowl main courses (£10 each), with options such as grilled chicken breast with potato, carrots and gravy; fish of the day with mashed potato and greens; or savoury rice with fresh vegetables and a choice of chicken or fish.

The menu complements the hotel’s popular Pooch Package and extensive dog-friendly amenities, which include dog beds and bowls in guest rooms, outdoor access from selected rooms, a dog-friendly restaurant, minimal noise levels for anxious dogs, water bowls throughout the hotel, dog-loving staff, and easy access to nearby walking routes and pet-friendly venues around Cardiff Bay.

The first tasters of the new menu were local pooches Teddington and Tilly, who gave the dishes a wag (and lick) of approval during a taste test in the bar overlooking Cardiff Bay.

Executive Chef at voco St. David’s Cardiff, Joe Procak told us….

“As a five-star hotel, we believe our dog guests deserve a little of the same luxury dining that our human guests enjoy. The Doggy All Day Menu has been carefully designed with fresh, nutritious ingredients, and we think it’s going to be a real treat for our four-legged visitors. Dogs are a huge part of our guests’ families, so it’s only right that they get to experience the very best of voco St. David’s Cardiff too.”

Located in the heart of Cardiff Bay, voco St David’s Cardiff is the city’s only five-star hotel. It offers 142 stylish rooms and suites with stunning views of the waterfront. Known for its distinctive sail-like architecture, the hotel is home to the award-winning Tir a Môr restaurant, a luxurious spa, and a selection of versatile meeting and event spaces, making it a premier destination for leisure, dining, and business.
