All of us parents dread, and love the day we take our kids to their first gig. There’s the anticipation of seeing live music for the first time, but also the nerves of, is it suitable, is it the right environment for them. Now the Memo Arts Centre has come up with the perfect solution for the Easter holidays.
They’re inviting families to a joyful, welcoming early-evening live music experience with MY FIRST GIG, headlined by Mali Hâf and supported by MACY. Designed especially for children aged 5-12, this relaxed event introduces young audiences to the excitement of a live gig in a safe and inclusive environment.
My First Gig encourages families to enjoy music together, with no expectation to sit still or remain silent. Children and adults alike can experience the energy, creativity, and emotion of live performance in a supportive setting.

Currently recording her debut album, Mali’s live shows are celebrated for transforming the stage into an expressive canvas, with every performance leaving a lasting impression on audiences of all ages.

MACY – Cardiff-based pop artist MACY crafts vibrant, feel-good pop anthems that captivate audiences. Since her 2020 debut single Cinema, she has performed at venues including The Principality Stadium, the BAFTA Awards, FOCUS Wales, and M for Montreal 2024, alongside radio play on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio 1.
