It looks like it’s going to be quite a day on Saturday for the very first VIVA PORT TALBOT FOOD FESTIVAL.
The best of Welsh food and drink is taking over Port Talbot town centre for the brand-new Festival, which is about much more than tasty stuff we can eat and drink. Of course, there’ll be plenty to tuck into but also lots for the whole family to enjoy with a variety of FREE workshops and crafts.
They really do have something for everyone……
– Artisan produce on Station Road and Forge Road
– Street food and live music in Civic Square
– Free workshops and children’s crafts
It all starts from 9am. Get your sampling sticks at the ready as artisan producers line the streets of Station Road and Forge Road – from cakes and bakes to hams and jams, as we said, there’s something for everyone!
Tickle your tastebuds at the tipple territory on Riverside Walk with a load of local producers offering cider, beer, gin, rum, cocktails and more (try saying that three times when you’ve had a few tasters!).
Get a taste of cultural cuisine from around the world at the street food area in Civic Square, featuring curry, noodles, pizza, burgers, waffles, and so much more.
