Back in August last year we told you about a new, heart pumping attraction which is making its way to the capital. We’ve been waiting for the opening date so you can get yourself booked in. Well, today is that day and if ever there is a way to see the home of Welsh Rugby (and some amazing concerts), this has to be it.

SCALE blends adrenaline-fuelled activities with panoramic views across South Wales and beyond. From taking in a bird’s-eye view from the newly installed ‘Crow’s Nest’, 60m above the Stadium floor, to zip lining across the roof canopy and abseiling back to ‘Base Camp’, visitors are invited to test courage and conviction against the backdrop of Wales’ vibrant capital.

We’ve got to ‘Scale’ the dizzy heights ahead of the attraction opening, watch our film below.

Wire & Sky have worked on similar projects at Wembley Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Cutty Sark and Liverpool FC’s Anfield and, since August this year, eagle-eyed observers will have been able to see Welsh construction company Pro Steel hard at work building the experience from Cardiff’s riverwalk.

Andy Broad, Managing Director, Wire & Sky told us…..

“Work on SCALE has been going well and some of you may have spotted the team hard at work constructing the attraction from below. We are thrilled to be creating what we believe will be a world-renowned visitor attraction that will offer adventure for all and unprecedented views of the Cardiff skyline.

We have worked on many similar projects at iconic stadiums and landmarks around the world, and we are excited to bring our expertise to Cardiff.  SCALE will be a truly unique experience, and we can’t wait to see visitors’ reactions when it opens.”
