FOODIES FESTIVAL returns to Bute Park in Cardiff for their biggest celebration yet of top chefs, tasty food, delicious drinks and live music. See SYMPHONIC IBIZA performing live on Friday 9th, SCOUTING FOR GIRLS on Saturday 10th and THE WANTED 2.0 with founding members Max George and Siva Kaneswaren on Sunday 11th May.

Known as Gastro-Glastonbury, the three-day event will feature live cooking demonstrations from TV celebrities and chefs drawn from the ranks of MasterChef, Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu.

Watch MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top local chefs cooking their signature summer recipes in the La Española Chefs Theatre.
They’ve got some fantastic new features this year including: Cook School with hands-on lessons from a top chef (£25 supp), boogie on down in the Silent Disco (£8 supp), and learn from experts on the BBQ Stage featuring barbecue and firepit cooking.
Learn how to make show-stopping cakes in the Cake & Bake Theatre with expert bakers and Great British Bake Off stars.
Sample new cocktails, wines and beers in The Drinks Theatre. Eat delicious street food from around the world. Taste new flavours. Meet artisan producers. Have fun all day with chilli eating competitions and food challenges! Kids join in the fun at The Kids Cookery Theatre.

More headline chefs to be announced over the coming weeks.
Throughout the weekend you can browse the latest food trends in the Shopping Village, meet local producers in the Artisan Market and taste exotic and unusual new dishes in the Feasting Tent – which features a mouth-watering range of street food and delicacies from all four corners of the globe.
New features this year include Great Taste Market, courtesy of Great Taste, where people can come together to discover new tastes and celebrate the art of good food.
The Tasting Theatre – where visitors can explore a variety of themed tastings, from hot and spicy adventures to mystery sweet and savoury pairings.
And International Cook School, where festival goers can learn new techniques and cook a dish to take away, with lessons from top chefs.
Other activities include: Flaming hot action at the Fire Stage with BBQ masters, Chilli Eating competitions,Fire Stage, Silent Disco, fairground rides, children’s activities and family-friendly areas.
