New research carried out by the guys at SMARTY MOBILE looks at Christmas during the pandemic, what we can and can’t do, and just how are we going to make it a jolly, happy time. But it seems there may be some hilarity in all this madness, and who better to bring that to us than award winning comedian GUZ KHAN.

We spoke to him about this research and those festive traditions which he, and maybe we, can all live without.

We’re pretty certain you’ll have seen Guz (a lot) over our period of lockdown. He’s an Actor, Writer and Stand-up Comedian from the notoriously gangster city that is Coventry. Originally a secondary school teacher, Guz is now a force to be reckoned with on the comedy circuit, when the circuit returns that is. He first came to prominence through his online videos which are performed in the guise of Guzzy Bear and included a variety of characters including Mobeen.

He was also in a series of adverts for Uber Eats a while back, although we understand he’s not with them any longer.

Guz stars in Mindy Kaling’s Hulu show Four Weddings and a Funeral and also plays opposite Idris Elba in Turn Up Charlie and Sky’s TV drama Curfew with Sean Bean and Billy Zane.

Alongside Mo Amer, Guz performed their Persons of Interest national tour in sold out venues and has performed on Live at The Apollo.
