James Arthur Itll All Make Sense Tour

There were a couple of South Wales dates in the diary for JAMES ARTHUR, pre-lockdown, but like everything else, they bit the dust. Now a full on tour is in the diary, with a Cardiff date at the Motorpoint Arena next March.

And when we say full on, this will take in dates across the UK and North America, showing that James has missed on live performing for nearly two years, in fact he said he’s ‘itching’ to get back out on the road……..

“Playing shows for my fans gives me life and that’s been taken away for the best part of two years so needless to say I’m itching to get back out there and perform for them again.”

Incredibly it’s almost 8 years since James won X Factor and what a win it was.

After winning the ninth series his debut single, a cover of Shontelle’s “Impossible”, was released by Syco Music after the final, and debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart. Since then, it has gone on to sell over 2.5 million copies worldwide, making it the most successful winner’s single in the show’s history.

We love this acoustic version of the song…….

The follow-up single, “You’re Nobody ’til Somebody Loves You”, was another top five hit. He released his self-titled debut studio album in November 2013. The album debuted and peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart.

He parted ways with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco in 2014. He was later re-signed to Syco in 2016. We’re sure James would be the first to agree that the comeback led to some of the best songs of his career.

After surpassing a staggering 1 billion streams, the song above “Say You Won’t Let Go” went on to sell more than 10 million copies worldwide. In addition, his album “Back From The Edge” went straight to No.1 and has now gone multi-platinum worldwide. As for the album YOU, it’s another career defining collection of songs.

Since then the music has kept coming, with a handful of brilliant collaborations, but let’s be honest, it’s seeing James on his own show, doing what he does so well live, that we can’t wait to see.

Of course, with a tour inevitably comes a new album and James won’t disappoint on that front.

Here’s the current single from his new album……

When he gets to town he’ll be performing songs from his latest album, It’ll All Make Sense In The End, alongside his classic hit singles and fan favourites.

Incidentally, you can pre-order the new album HERE.
