It’s been running for a few years now and it seems that HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD will be around for a long time yet. They have just announced they are back and booking for the show again.

The play is an incredible piece of work, we’ve been lucky to see it a few times now, with different cast members. Each time we were blown away by the experience. Not only the story, which is, just as you’d expect, fantastic. The entire staging is something to behold, it’s like nothing else you will ever see on stage.
Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, had its world premiere in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016.
The critically acclaimed production is the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017. Such is its greatness it’s taking the world by storm with productions in New York, Melbourne, Toronto, Hamburg and San Fransisco.
There was a great launch in New York in 2019 when Times Square came alive with The CURSED CHILD. In fact it was the biggest Times Square takeover on record. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child celebrates its global expansion spectacularly.Take a look HERE.

So do you need to have seen the movies or read the books before entering the world of the CURSED CHILD? We would say yes, most definitely. Will watching the play re-arrange the original stories in any way? That, you will need to discover for yourself. The play is all about ‘KEEPING THE SECRET‘ and thats exactly what we’re going to do.
What we will say is that it is pure genius how it gathers all the elements of the Wizarding World and magically transforms them into the most unbelievable stage experience you will ever see. Yet never does it break or shatter any illusions.

Now to the problem. How do you get tickets?
Firstly, you need to know the play is in two parts. You can either see them on the same day, at certain performances or individually. Trust us, you can’t really see one without the other. We’ve always seen them back to back. It is a very long day and you’ll be sitting in the theatre for a good few hours, but it is worth every second.

I’m afraid we can’t wave any magic wands on the ticket front, but we will let you know when a new batch are being released. To check out the show, dates and tickets, go here. HARRY.
Also, look out for the what the call the FRIDAY FORTY.
Every week, 40 tickets, for every performance the following week will be released via TodayTix for some of the very best seats in the theatre at £40 (£20 per part). These tickets are known as ‘The Friday Forty’. For more details on that go here FORTY.
