For those of us who may play a lot of Pink Floyd but have never seen them live, let us point you in the direction of ULTIMATE FLOYD, an eight-piece Pink Floyd tribute show based here in South Wales. They take their material from various albums including Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, The Division Bell, Animals & Meddle.

As you can see they are a big old outfit and that’s without the behind the stage team. As with the real PF, it’s not only about the music, although they are really good at that. They have the full set with lights, lasers, smoke, stereophonic sound and their circular screen.
They have a fairly comprehensive your of South Wales coming up, so they should be arriving at a venue near you. They are…..

We do just want to mention one of those dates, the 4th April in Penarth. The evening is actually the Town Mayor’s Charity Fundraiser. Penarth’s Mayor for 2019/2020, Cllr Angela Thomas began her year’s charitable activities with a very successful coffee morning in aid of her nominated charity, the National Autistic Society Cardiff and Vale Branch.

Angela told us…….
“It was a chance for the community to come and meet the new Mayor and find out more about my chosen charity, with Lynda from the National Autistic Society Cardiff and Vale………..I look forward to meeting everyone in the year to come, with some great events planned.”
The National Autistic Society Cymru works with autistic people across Wales. They provide a wide range of quality, personalised support services for people on the autism spectrum and their families and carers.

So, the evening in Penarth will not only feature some great live music from the ULTIMATE FLOYD but is supporting a wonderful charity. We’re told they’ll have…..
