During the last few months of lockdown we have no doubt spent a lot of time wondering what our world will be like as restrictions ease. It’s clear that things are, and will continue to be very different for a long time to come. I suppose we wonder if this will also be the new normal. One thing we can tell you is that our car world has taken a massive leap forward, and now, a very nice, but nevertheless regular BMW has become anything but regular.
Meet LETRONS. And what you see, is absolutely for real. Letrons is the first and only of its kind in the world with a full performance conversion in one to one scale and excellent technical data.

Okay, so Letrons has the look of a BMW, which is precisely what it is. But beneath that gleaming, shiny red exterior, lies the things of childhood and movie dreams.
The idea came about in a partnership meeting when the creators were discussing and brainstorming about a unique and futuristic project. Levent Erenler and his team, which consisted of many Engineers and supporting technicians tackled the incredible project. The mechanical construction was built in their head office and the software was developed in their Technopark HQ.
Letrons is an amazing piece of technology, and for all those technically minded reading this, it has……
- 200 Ncm DC servo motor allows the head to be able to turn 120 degrees. Neck and body connection by 1.000N actuator. Dynamic neck movements with 100 N actuator.
- 400 Nm powerful engine takes very little space and allows high performance throughout.
- Highly Effective Management Software allows voice interaction and high performance movement capability.
- Dynamic angle-controlled arm movements with 1.000 N linear DC power dynamic actuators and sensors.
- Full HD interactive feedback screen with rich visual feast and media presentation.
- Led based design dynamic eye structure and variable light spectrum allows highly effective visuality.
No I can tell you we’re no experts here in the SOUTH WALES LIFE office, but we think all that stuff mean, Letrons is incredibly intelligent.
And if you’re thinking there is no chance of seeing a Letrons on the roads of South Wales, you’d couldn’t be more wrong. Letrons can be for sale if the buyers project and their reasons for use, meets the criteria of the Letrons team. However, if someone was fortunate enough to meet the criteria, and had the money to buy one and bring it here, we wouldn’t see it driving along the M4 anytime soon.
The cars are not drivable in traffic yet. They function via remote control. The genius team behind the project tell us that one day this is possible, in the near future, all thanks to Letrons electric engine. Seriously can you imagine the face on the kids (of all ages) if it pulled into the car park at Aust services? We would pay good money just to see that one day.
And if you’re not a huge fan of the BMW. we’re told the Letrons can be built from various models of cars. The team are working towards this now.
As a kid I never had anything which transformed from one thing into another, apart from a plate of veg which turned me into one very angry young boy. I think now though, the bar has been set very high. Beware Mum and Dad, if your kids ask you for a robot a car that turns into a robot, any savings for University will be right out the window.
Finally, did I hear you say the word price? I was always told that if you have to ask the price, then probably you can’t afford it. If you’d like to find out more, head to the site for more incredible images and videos. LETRONS
