On Wednesday 27th April you can head to your nearest LUSH shop and pick up a bath bomb to take home while stocks last. Lush staff will help you navigate their selection of bath bombs available in-store to find the one most suitable for your ‘me-moment’ this World Bath Bomb day.

The single layer, fast fizzing bath bomb was invented in 1989 by Lush Co-founder and Product Inventor Mo Constantine in her garden shed. Creatively packaged, these new and exciting products turned bath time on its head. Starting with the simple ‘Aqua Sizzler’, they have come a long way since then.

When Lush began we saw the birth of such classics as ‘Butterball’ and ‘Blackberry Bath Bomb’, simple in their construction but wonderfully effective.

Bath bombs transform the humble bath tub into a portal to another world; be that one of relaxation, inspiration… or even seduction. Lush will also be celebrating the first ever World Bath Bomb Day by showering commuters, students, workers and a whole host of other people with free bath bombs to public places where stress levels might be high.
