Tina Turner is never far from our party playlist and despite losing the great woman recently, we can still enjoy her catalogue of incredible hits in the smash touring show WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
The production is out on the third year of its massive UK tour, with a Swansea date in July.
This is an absolute joyous show celebrating the music of the incredible Tina Turner. Launched in 2019, the show has been selling out theatres in towns and cities across the UK.
Brought to you by the award-winning producers behind the hugely successful Whitney – Queen Of The Night, What’s Love Got To Do With It? is the ultimate tribute concert paying homage to one of the most iconic and much loved musical artists of the 20th Century.
In this exciting touring theatre show, audiences can expect a night of high energy with feel-good rock-and-roll featuring Tina’s greatest hits performed by the amazing vocal talent of HOLLY BANNIS (Whitney – Queen Of The Night, ITV’s Starstruck) supported by a full 10-piece live band.
Holly is a singer/songwriter who grew up around music with a father in the Industry (he used to sing with Hot Chocolate) and discovered at 8 years old her voice and love for music. She took part in local singing competitions, and most recent winning a talent show starring in a BBC ONE documentary.
Holly said……
“I’ve been really lucky to come across working at some great venues in London, including the Oval Cricket ground.
I headlined a show at the O2 Academy in Islington in 2019. I’ve also appeared on a BBC 1 TV Documentary, winning a talent show, taking place at a famous local market which had a small judging panel, with the likes of an ex X-Factor contestant and won a cash prize!”.
Holly has been performing across the UK and is ready to take to our South Wales stages in this fantastic tour.
In a breath-taking career spanning over 50 years, you can look forward to hearing stunning musical arrangements of Tina’s most-loved classic hits including; Private Dancer, What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Proud Mary, River Deep, Nutbush City Limits, Simply The Best and many more.
