We’ve had to wait almost five years but Queen B is back and heading to Cardiff.
BEYONCÉ has officially announced that she will be going back out on tour this spring – with five dates in the UK.
She announced live dates for her Renaissance World Tour, following the 2022 release of her critically acclaimed album of the same name.
Sharing a picture of herself riding a horse, Beyoncé wrote:
“RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023.”
The tour will kick off in Europe in May, with a date here in Cardiff There’s also shows in Edinburgh, Sunderland and London. It will be her first time on the road since 2018’s On the Run II tour with husband Jay-Z, and boy do we remember that experience in Cardiff – especially when she popped out for fish and chips (true).
Unusually, Beyoncé hasn’t made any videos for the current album, which means the Renaissance tour will be our first chance to see her visual interpretation of tracks like Break My Soul, Alien Superstar and Cuff It.
For her Renaissance tour, Beyoncé will perform six UK shows.
- May 17: Principality Stadium, Cardiff
- May 20: Murrayfield, Edinburgh
- May 23: Stadium of Light, Sunderland
- May 29: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
- May 30: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
- June 2: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
We may get more tour details at the weekend Grammys, where she is up for nine awards, including album of the year.
Beyoncé hinted at plans for a world tour last October when she raffled tickets to a show during the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala.
