Into The Woods

Into The Woods is a delicious combination of fairy tales, including Cinderella, Rapunzel and Jack and the Beanstalk. Act One takes the audience through the familiar stories, with the help of an original tale to pull them all together. In Act Two, however, Happily Ever After is faced with the threat of a Giant, determined to avenge the death of her husband.

James Lapine’s book about wishes, familial ties and loss, coupled with Stephen Sondheim’s clever and moving score make for a thought provoking and moving visit to the theatre. Giants in the Sky, Last Midnight, No One Is Alone and Children Will Listen are just a few of the fantastic songs from this amazing score.
