Well, that was a weekend of live music fans won’t for get for a long time. On Friday, Chepstow Racecourse played host to music superstar LIONEL RICHIE, and last night (Sunday) it was Paradise as GEORGE EZRA brought an incredible weekend of international live music to a close.

If you’ve not seen George live before, you really have to. He is something really special on stage, with a fantastic band to keep you partying all night long. And it was a real family affair with youngsters joining mum and dad, gran and grandpa, the atmosphere was truly magical.

The pop chart-topper and Brit Award-winning artist wowed fans with his joyous headline set – packed with hits from his hit albums, including singalong anthems Green Green Grass, Anyone For You, Budapest, Shotgun and many, many more.

Families partied under sunny skies and a glowing full moon, with support acts KINGFISHR, THE BIG MOON, and TikTok sensation CAT BURNS getting the show off to a fantastic start.

The setting for the summer gigs couldn’t have been any better with great parking and public transport into the racecourse. The racecours have staged ‘live after racing’ events for many years, but this was altogether something new. With plenty of space, loads of concessions and some top class acts, we have everything crossed the venue will be hosting similar event in the fusture.

But last night was all about the fans, as you can from our Instagram post below…….

We spoke to so many people last night both in the car park and around the stage and everyone loved the fact these world class names were playing right on their doorstep.

Dare we hope we’ll be back to do it again next year?
