What a month October was. As we prepared for Halloween and Bonfire Night, a ‘Firebreak” Lockdown was introduced which keeps us behind doors till 9th November.
Restaurants felt the pressure of no shows and asked customers to be more considerate when making a booking. Cineworld announced it closure till next year. The new Bond movie was also moved to 2021 and was blamed, in part, for the closure of the cinema chain.
Gary Barlow said he’d enjoyed working on his new album during lockdown and announced a Cardiff date in 2021. Olly Murs also revealed his lockdown weight loss and how excited he is to play two day in South Wales.
We spoke to musician and actress Laura Evans. She may make her music in Nashville but her heart will always be home in Aberdare.
Our team paid a visit to Cardiff Bay for the OUR SOUTH WALES series and we continued to enjoy our fantastic markets.
Take a look back at the month, in pictures.
