The West End mega-hit TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL is heading out on its first ever UK and Ireland tour. This massive production is landing in Nutbush Cardiff City on Tuesday 10th February 2026.

Okay, so it may be almost two years before we get to see the show on the Wales Millennium Centre stage, but believe me, it’ll be well worth the wait.

The show is the story of legendary artist Tina Turner, the twelve-time Grammy Award winning Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Set to the pulse-pounding soundtrack of her iconic hits, including The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Private Dancer and River Deep, Mountain High, the musical is an inspiring true story of a woman who dared to dream fiercely, shatter barriers and defy the bounds of age, gender, and race to conquer the world against all odds.

Before we go any further, South Wales Life was invited to the tour announcement in London recently and got to meet the team behind the production. We also stayed on to catch an afternoon matinee and were completely blown away by the scale of the show. It’s not just a musical, although the music is next level good, this is the real story, of a woman who faced challenges just like you and me, and I think that’s what makes this show so relatable.

You’ll get to hear Tina talk in a 2017 interview about the production and how she didn’t really want it to go ahead. We also spoke to the show producer TALI PELMAN, who has her own special memories of the incredible Tina Turner.
