Christmas is a special time for many of us, but this year it’ll be more so for BUSTER BLOODVESSEL and the guys in BAD MANNERS.
In what has become a bit of a festive tradition, the band are back out on the road and have a couple of December dates here in South Wales.
Last year’s gigs didn’t go ahead, and that made Buster one unhappy, and seemingly very bored entertainer. But fear not, these 80s favourites are back again with their 12 days of Christmas tour which kicks off in Manchester this Friday before getting to Sin City in Swansea on the 16th and Tramshed in Cardiff on the 17th.
We put a call in to Buster recently to have a catch up before he heads out on the road, and he told us how much he loved being here in South Wales, especially the Valleys. He also has a bit of a soft spot for Monmouth, so watch out, you might well see him on Monmow Street doing his Christmas shopping.
Bad Manners were always a popular live act in North London when they started, with their brand of ‘fun’ ska. The band broke out of London and toured the country on the back of nine Top 40 singles between 1980 and 1983.
As he said, playing live is still what they do best, and the Christmas dates are a massive part of their music calendar.
You can see BAD MANNERS at Sin City in Swansea on the 16th and the following night (17th) at Tramshed in Cardiff. You can get tickets for either (or both) of those dates right HERE.
