If you go down to Friars Walk this weekend, you’re sure of a big surprise. DINOSAUR WORLD LIVE are back in Newport, performing at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in October. After their roaring success at their last visit, their return was a must!
If you’ve not seen the show before it’s an absolute must. Not only is it an entertaining and educational live show that will delight for the whole family, but we promise you the look on your kids faces will light up yours just as much. Take a look at the trailer further down the page to see what we mean.
Using stunning puppetry to bring life-like dinosaurs to the stage, Dinosaur World Live presents a host of impressive pre-historic creatures including every child’s favourite flesh-eating giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, along with a Giraffatitan, Microraptor, Segnosaurus and Triceratops.
But let’s get back to that big surprise in Friars Walk. An astonishing (and remarkably life-like) dinosaur will be roaming the streets of Newport City Centre today, so we reckon you need to charge up your phones, grab the kids (big and small) and make a beeline for the centre to grab some brilliant Instagrammable pics.
The day will consist of 3 roves (we think that’s the official Dino term for a walkabout):
- 12 noon
- 12:45pm
- 1:30pm
We don’t think we need tell you what to look out for, it’s the huge roaring dinosaur and the massive crowd taking pictures that will give it away.
So, whether you’ve been to see Dinosaur World Live before or you’re new to being and intrepid explorer, bring the family along and see a sneak peak of what’s to come in October.
These fearsome puppets may have a loud roar but are perfect for children ages 3+.
