Two things are absolutely certain here in Wales – we love our music and we really love our food, and why wouldn’t we have, we are the best at both of them. So put them together, move into Singleton Park in Swansea, and you pretty much have the perfect August Bank Holiday Weekend.

The SWANSEA FOOD FEST is the ultimate celebration of culinary delights, music, and community spirit and it all gets underway this Saturday.

This brand new food and music festival is set to be the largest scale festival in the city.

Run by Revel Festivals, the event will feature food stalls – (we hear around 60 are expected), there’ll be masterclasses and talks from a variety of chefs as well as workshops and demonstrations. It’ll be a mix of mouthwatering street food from diverse vendors, with that will delight your taste buds.

This however, is a festival in the truest sense with something for all the family to enjoy. With a vibrant marketplace of artisan exhibitors, showcasing everything from food and drinks to clothing, sweets, crafts, and more. And for the kids (young and old) there’ll be a whole range of activities, including an inflatable assault course, face painting, glitter tattoos, you may even catch a ‘superhero’ or two around the Park.

The Swansea Food Fest event manager Hannah O’Neill told us……

“We are thrilled to present Swansea Food Fest as a celebration of the local food scene, music, and community. It’s an event that brings people together, highlighting the talent and creativity within our city. We invite everyone to join us in this epic weekend of food, music and family fun on the bank holiday weekend, as we aim to create lasting memories.”
