A brand new concert is heading around the UK this years, in celebration of 100 years of Disney! This awesome celebration of the music of Disney gets to the Cardiff International Arena in June.
Presented in the UK by Senbla and produced by Semmel Concerts, DISNEY 100 – THE CONCERT will feature legendary film scenes on giant screen, whilst the magical musical moments are brought to life by the Hollywood Sound Orchestra along with star soloists, for a multimedia experience.
The shows will feature the greatest songs from films like Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Encanto, and more; as well as highlights from the worlds of Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel.

Whether underwater or on the high seas, in the vastness of the universe or simply in a children’s room, the soundtracks of these stories touch hearts and move people of all generations.
Since 2016, the successful musical series ‘Disney in Concert’ has been enchanting fans worldwide with these legendary soundtracks.”
Strictly Come Dancing star and Disney super-fan JANETTE MANRARA will host the tour, which will feature a cast of star soloists and ensemble performers from recent Disney in Concert tours.
Janette was born in Born in Miami, Florida, so no doubt spent a lot of time heading to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. As for dancing, she formerly studied from the age of 19. She has been a Strictly favourite since she joined the ‘family’ ten years ago.
On hosting the tour, a very excited Janette told us…..
“It’s no secret I’m a big Disney fan, so to be able to celebrate all the beautiful music of the last 100 years that Disney’s storytelling has brought us, is an absolute joy!”
The soloists and performers have strong musical theatre pedigree, including the West End, Broadway, and beyond. Announced for the show so far are: Bessy Ewa, Charlie Burn, Cleve September, Anton Zetterholm, Roberta Valentini, Georgina Hagen, Richard-Salvador Wolff, Tobias Joch and Masengu Kanyinda.

A major new “Disney 100: The Exhibition” which will take guests on a journey through Disney’s past, immersing them in the beloved stories that have been entertaining the world since 1923. Disney will also open its vault of treasures to showcase hundreds of extraordinary pieces of history, including rarely seen original artworks, artefacts, costumes, props and other memorabilia. The exhibition starts in Philadelphia in the US in February, and then visits Munich from 18th April, and tours Europe. It will open at the Excel centre in London this Autumn.
The celebrations will also present a “Wonder of Friendship – The Experience,” which is an immersive multi-sensory experience celebrating dynamic duos, brave besties and inseparable pals. Groups of friends will have the chance to venture through 1,000 square meters of different experiences and installations set across four rooms, including Alice in Wonderland, Lilo & Stitch, The Lion King and Mickey and Friends.
The exhibition will open in London from May, and then visit other places in the UK, France, Germany, Spain and more.
