Dress My Head Exhibition

The Dress My Head exhibition is the result of a series of creative arts workshop designed to encourage everyone participating to freely explore and play with their own ideas, embrace mistakes and prioritised imagination and experimentation. The Exhibition is to showcase and celebrate the incredible creative talent and unique imagination of all those taking part.

Workshops developed by local artist Tina Foster and held at Rose Tinted Rags in Hereford.

Background to the project:

Tina has an M.A with distinction in Arts Practice from the U.S.W in Cardiff. Alongside refining individual practice, the course was designed to explore the wider benefits (in a wellbeing context) of art and creativity. She believes that allowing ourselves to experiment and play in creative ways can improve our mental resilience and increase self esteem and is interested in the role the arts can play in mediating the understanding of difference in society.

Rose Tinted Rags are affiliated to the charity Echo Herefordshire and offer a variety of regular innovative workshops that support and encourage individuals with learning disabilities to explore their creativity and express their unique skills.
