There’s going to be organised chaos on stage at the Wales Millennium this week as the touring production of PETER PAN GOES WRONG flies into the capital.

Following their multi award-winning sell-out success with The Play That Goes Wrong and the BBC TV series The Goes Wrong Show, Mischief return with their riotous spin on a timeless classic.

The play sees the ‘Cornley Drama Society’ back on stage battling technical hitches, flying mishaps and cast disputes as they attempt to present J.M. Barrie’s much-loved tale. But will they ever make it to Neverland?

The show reunites returning Mischief cast members with some courageous new recruits. JAKE BURGUM (Venus in Furs, Hound of the Baskervilles) will be playing Trevor. JACK MICHAEL STACEY will be playing Chris. His previous tv and theatre credits include Poldark (BBC), Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, (Netflix) and The Play That Goes Wrong (West End).

Robert will be played by MATTHEW HOWELL (The Play that Goes Wrong, As You Like It, Henry V). Francis will be played by JEAN-LUKE WORRELL, (A Strange Loop, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery).

Annie will be played by JAMIE BIRKETT (Mamma Mia the Party, Into The Woods, The Play That Goes Wrong and Groan Ups). CIARA MORRIS (The Play That Goes Wrong) will be playing Sandra.

GARETH TEMPEST (The Comedy About a Bank Robbery) will be playing Jonathan, and ROSEMARIE AKWAFO (The Play That Goes Wrong) will be playing Lucy. They’ll be joined by THEO TOKSVIG-STEWART (playing Max), CLARK DEVLIN (playing Dennis), with understudies: ROMEO MIKA, CLARE NOY, CONSUELA ROLLE and PHIL YARROW

Let’s go straight back to new recruit number on, Jake Burgum. It’s a return home for the South Wales born actor, who told us he’s seen many shows at the Wales Millennium Centre but never played on the stage himself.

We put a Zoom call in to Jake to find see just how excited he is to be bringing this show home, and despite moving away for your career, this beautiful country of ours always drags you back……
