After a huge success last year (in the brilliant sunshine) Pontypridd Residents enjoyed August Bank Holiday Saturday with a fun-filled family event planned by the Town Council. The weather wasn’t perfect (we live in Wales after all) but the day was great and everyone had a fantastic time.
A variety of activities and entertainment are lined up for the SUMMER FUN DAY which will take place in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park on Saturday, August 26th.
Entrance to the event, which takes place between 11am – 5pm and all activities are free.
Here’s a look back at last years event…..
A variety of free activities and entertainment were lined up including – a funfair, a music stage, sporting activities, fairground rides, food stalls, market stalls and much more, including a new environmental area and the ever popular land-train – a firm family-favourite. The Town Council’s popular vintage transport rally also returned, with an exhibition in the park and a parade through Pontypridd town centre.
Pontypridd Town Council’s SUMMER FUN DAY took place in Ynysangharad Park with entrance and activities FREE.
