Fireworks Night was long overdue, judging by the incredible response we had to our feature. At one point over the weekend, something like 10,000 were checking out displays and organised events on our pages, every hour. It was amazing.
It seems that all of the displays around South Wales went very well on the night, and all the thousands who supported them not only had a great time, but adhered to all the appropriate guidelines.
We are so pleased the world is slowly finding its way back to a new normal, and here’s to more events coming together as smoothly as last weekend – we hear that Santa has a busy few weeks ahead of him……
- MAGICAL PLACE TO SEE SANTA THIS YEAR
- 100 THINGS TO DO BEFORE CHRISTMAS
- ROYAL WELSH WINTER FAIR
- BUTE PARK CHRISTMAS TRAIL
- SWANSEA CHRISTMAS PARADE
- LUMINATE WALES
Here’s a look back at a few of the displays, and home events from the weekend.
The first picture come from the Sophiaworks display at Glamorgan Cricket Club.
Then it’s on to Abergavenny Round Table’s display at Belgrave Park, with these pictures taken by SJB Photography, with some amazing views across the town – thanks.
And of course, we all still like to light up our back gardens when we can….
Thanks for all the pictures you sent in. Should we do it all again next year?
